Upon his return to Germany he studied with Christian Meyers and is currently studying under Martin Auer at the HMT Leipzig. His projects are the guitar-trumpet Duo “Peregrinaćion” and the Jazz-Band “The 4th Encounter”.

Το κουιντέτο του, “Alexander Mihaylov & His Patardia”, παίρνει το όνομά του από το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του Patardia – μια βουλγαρική λέξη που σημαίνει «φασαρία» ή «αναστάτωση», αλλά και τη συγχώνευση αντιφατικών ήχων. Πιστό στο όνομά του, το εγχείρημα αντλεί έμπνευση από απρόσμενους μουσικούς συνδυασμούς, πλέκοντας τους αρχαίους ήχους του καβάλ με σύγχρονες επιρροές. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι μια ζωντανή μίξη που επαναπροσδιορίζει τις δυνατότητες του οργάνου, προωθώντας το πέρα από τις παραδοσιακές του ρίζες σε τολμηρά, νέα εδάφη.

Ο Mihaylov πλαισιώνεται από μια εξαιρετική ομάδα μουσικών, καθένας από τους οποίους προσθέτει τη δική του ξεχωριστή πινελιά στον ήχο του συγκροτήματος – ο Ilko Gradev (πλήκτρα, ακορντεόν) εμπλουτίζει τη μουσική με αρμονικό βάθος, ο Georgi Popov (κρουστά) προσφέρει πολύπλοκα ρυθμικά στρώματα, ο Georgi Uzunov (μπάσο) δίνει δυναμικό παλμό και ο Viktor Radanov (ντραμς) καθοδηγεί τον ρυθμό με λεπτότητα και δύναμη.

The trio by the name of great for healing is an adventurous new birth inside the ginormous music industry with multiple influences imitating the beginning and possible ending of the universe. With Eirini Alisá (Piano/ Keys), Nicky Kokkoli (Sax) and Giannis Papanikolaou (Drums), a blend of jazz, electronic elements and rigorously unfiltered storytelling is born.

In between schisms and elevator shafts lay the major rests and pauses they all three seek in their music. Sound without pauses is food without spices.

Through their “mistakes”, they build new ideas and converse with the audience in this new era of modern music, in which, jazz is once again a genre of no elitism, music for the people, for young blood. Three storytellers ready to charm you with their plastic pipes, arpeggiators, lack of greatness and effects.

Ξεκίνησε το ταξίδι της στη μουσική στο Moniuszko Music School στην Wałbrzych, την πόλη που μεγάλωσε. Σπούδασε πολιτισμό και ιστορία της τέχνης στο John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin και φωτογραφία στο Lublin School of Art and Design. Στο τέλος όμως επέλεξε την μουσική. Το 2018 συμμετείχε στον διαγωνισμό VII Festiwal WSCHODY στην Πολωνία το οποίο και κέρδισε. Συμμετείχε σε πολλά συγκροτήματα, όπως το γνωστό πολωνικό folk συγκρότημα Saint Nicholas Orchestra και το ορχηστρικό post – rock κινηματογραφικό σεπτέτο SEKTA DENTA. 

Πριν από 4 χρόνια, ενώ ζούσε στην Ισλανδία αποκομμένη από την κοινωνία, άρχισε να δημιουργεί το πρώτο της προσωπικό της έργο. Της αρέσει να πειραματίζεται με διαφορετικά είδη μουσικής και να δημιουργεί κολάζ ήχων, έχοντας ως βάση το looper και τη φωνή της.

Η Weronika χαρακτηρίζει το project της ως avant cello, με ένα μείγμα indie rock, jazz, folk κλασικής και κινηματογραφικής μουσικής.
