]]> Palinstar is a parallel universe, planet, and self-heroine all at once. Behind the name lies a multi-instrumentalist who has toured globally with Boytoy(US), supported Caroline Rose(US) or Soap&Skin(AT), and performed at KEXP (Kush K).

Now, she finally presents her artistic vision: gay stuff, Emotional Jetlag, Heart Rock as a refuge. Or a blend of Americana melodies with simple lyrics, inspired by Nirvana del Rey and experimental-song.

Additionally, it’s shaped by Swiss heritage and a deep, sensual voice akin to Angel Olsen and Stevie Nicks. The specially invented language «Spenglish» forms the core of this «Mouthart». Sound that motivates towards self-empowerment and self-care while activating the emotional and song process. ]]> Οι The BuzzDealers δημιουργήθηκαν στην Αθήνα το 2015 για να παίξουν ένα κράμα αγνού rock ‘n’ roll και indie γκαραζοψυχεδέλειας. Πιστοί υπηρέτες της αναβλείζουσας μάντρας της γενέτειρας τους, οι The BuzzDealers  παρουσιάζονται ωμοί, δυναμικοί, γεμάτοι fuzzαριστά riffs και κολλητικά grooves. Με περήφανες αναφορές σε μουσικές προηγούμενων δεκαετιών, είναι μια μπάντα που σφυρηλατεί υπομονετικά τον ήχο της, αναδεικνύοντας έτσι τον πολυσυλλεκτικό και ανήσυχο χαρακτήρα της. 

Έχοντας καταθέσει τα διαπιστευτήρια τους με εμφανίσεις σε όλη την Ελλάδα και ιδρώνοντας το σανίδι ιστορικών σκηνών όπως Gagarin 205, AN Club, Six d.o.g.s., Θέατρο Βράχων, Rover, Café Santan κ.α., το συγκρότημα κυκλοφόρησε το Φεβρουάριο του 2020, το πρώτο του full length album με τίτλο “Blooming”, σε παραγωγή Alex Bolpasis και mastering από τον Nick Townsend (Alice in Chains, Paramore, Weezer, Carlos Santana κ.α.) στο Orange Country της California.  Λίγους μήνες αργότερα και εν καιρώ πανδημίας, το “Blooming” κυκλοφορεί παγκοσμίως σε μορφή βινυλίου από τη γερμανική Nasoni Records.

Μετά την πρώτη επιτυχία του “Blooming”, το οποίο εξαντλήθηκε σε όλες τις φυσικές μορφές του, οι The BuzzDealers  συνεχίζουν τη συνεργασία τους με το διάσημο παραγωγό Alex Bolpasis στο πολυαναμενόμενο δεύτερο άλμπουμ τους  με τίτλο «Radiant Frequencies», που αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει την άνοιξη του 2025.

]]> Ο κος Κ ειναι τραγουδοποιός και μουσικός παραγωγός με 5 ολοκληρωμένα albums στο ενεργητικό του, με πρόσφατο το αναμενόμενο “Το μέλλον”  (2025). Προηγούμενα albums τα: “Ρεπό” (2020), “40 Μέρες” (2015), “Σήματα Καπνού” (2013), “Εδώ Είναι Το Σπίτι μου” (2011) αλλά και το E.P. “Κος Κ” (2010) που εμπεριείχε τα ντεμπούτο tracks “Μπαμ” και “Κορίτσι του μήνα”. Ο ήχος του κινείται γύρω από το Indie rock και το folk αλλά και την D.I.Y. αισθητική εν γένει, που τον ακολουθεί στον ήχο και στην εικόνα της μουσικής του. Βασίζεται στον τρόπο που παίζει κιθάρα, στον χαρακτηριστικό τρόπο που τραγουδά αλλά και στη γλώσσα που μιλούν τα τραγούδια του. Folk στιγμές τον ακολουθούν σε όλα τα ηλεκτρικά albums του, από το “Πάρε τα μάτια μου και κοίτα” του 2011 έως την “Ξένη” του 2021, μέχρι τα φρέσκα “Αν” και “Φευγιό”, αλλά βέβαια και στη Β’ πλευρά του νέου άλμπουμ του με τίτλο “Το μέλλον” με τραγούδια όπως τα “που πάμε λέγε”, “νερό κι αλάτι”, “εν κινήσει” κ.α.

Έχει επιμεληθεί την τελευταία δεκαετία ως μουσικός παραγωγός 70+ άλμπουμς από καλλιτέχνες και μπάντες της ελληνόφωνης και αγγλόφωνης σκηνής.

Την τελευταία δεκαετία έχει παίξει επιλεκτικές συναυλίες σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο κι έχει μοιραστεί την ίδια σκηνή με εκλεκτούς καλλιτέχνες και μπάντες.

Μέλος των “Sillyboy’s Ghost Relatives” ως κιθαρίστας αλλά και του νεοσύστατου ψυχεδελικού σχήματος “Villaboas“.

Σήμερα, ο κος Κ έχει μοιραστεί την ακουστική πλευρά του διπλού άλμπουμ με τίτλο “Το Μέλλον“. Θα ακολουθήσουν μέσα στο έτος και τα live rock takes, πρόκειται για 8 ηλεκτρικά και 8 ακουστικά τραγούδια που θα εμπεριέχονται σε ένα διπλό case, με δύο κασέτες, μία για κάθε πλευρά του τραγουδοποιού.

]]> Desert Monks formed in 2016 in Athens, Greece in an attempt to merge a series of musical and aesthetical aspects under a familiar, yet unique, sound. Their music focuses on Alternative Rock and its subgenres, with the discrete presence of elements deriving from each member’s diverse sonic and artistic background. Their work is governed by a prominently overdriven feel with straightforward grooves, occasionally polite and unconventional harmonies, repetitive energy-building motifs and heavier bursts. Their performances are based on intense mood changes, ample dynamics and audience engagement through their lyrics, music, semantics and lighting/ show direction. Since their formation, they have performed extensively both as solo acts, as well as part of highly acknowledged lineups in venues, festivals and collective actions in Greece. Desert monks remain loyal to the heavier side of the British school combined with the musicality and the energy conveyed by the 90s scene, both of which set the foundation to apply any contemporary elements composing their inviting soundscapes.

Their second album, ‘Sympan’ (2022, Just Gazing Records), received significant critical acclaim.

They have also performed abroad (in Bulgaria and Romania) and have been part of esteemed lineups alongside artists such as Aggelakas, Pavlidis, ViC, Planet of Zeus, and Naxatras.They are set to embark on their second European tour in September 2024.

]]> Small Chanter is the alter ego of Gregory Psaltakos, singer of the Athenian blues rockers Mr. Highway Band, his personal and experiential music project.

His band moves on dark folk and country tracks, truly inspired by the American traditional music.

Small Chanter started the editing and recording of the material of “Chronicle Zer0” in 2018 (although the band has existence since 2015) at Orfeas Music Studio in Athens by Tassos Ioannidis, who also puts his signature on the production of the album. The mastering was done by Kosmas Boulakas. The album was released in 2021.

The first release of Small Chanter consists of 10 tracks, all with lyrics and music by Gregory Psaltakos, except for “She’s Got to Be” and “Pouring Rain” written by Giannis Afendras (Mr. Highway Band). On track “Guns ‘N” Wars” music is from “ta paidia kato ston kampo” – Manos Hatzidakis.

Οn december of 2020 Small Chanter presents the online concert “Dark Christmas”. Οn February 2022 he presented “Chronicle Zer0” a live performance in Athens venue Ilion plus, a sold out concert.

The artistic and musical personality of Small Chanter as well as his personal art direction and production constitutes spectacle audio-visual.

]]> LOUD SILENCE is a rock band, based in Athens, Greece. Originally as a trio, the band makes a mix of the classic heavy rock sounds with some pop and alt-rock elements. Working tirelessly to create new music in recent years, 2023 finds them with their second album, leaving aside its debut album “Elements”. Growing up in it, the new album comes to prove who LOUD SILENCE  really is, with maturity and honesty. The album combines the words “FEAR” and “TALES”, just as it combines pop melodies and heavier sounds – the record is the band’s most ambitious and striking work yet. “Feartales” released in December 2023 via Bitter Tea Records.

]]> Birds of Vale were formed in early 2020 in Athens, and at the end of the same year their debut double single Devil in / Beautiful Girl was released by Bitter Tea Records, produced by Alex Bolpasis, which received excellent reviews. Their music is deeply rooted in the 70’s heavy blues/rock n roll sound, mixed with a modern twist. Bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are constant reference points in their music. Having played in various venues in 2023, they entered the studio and recorded their first LP “Limbo”, which was released in February 2024 via Bitter Tea Records, preceded by singles “Sungun” and “Caviar”.

Ωμός ροκ ήχος, fuzzy κιθάρες πλαισιωμένες από ένα δυνατό rhythm section σε συνδυασμό με αγγλικό στίχο έχουν ως αποτέλεσμα κομμάτια που φέρνουν στο νου αγαπημένες garage μελωδίες θυμίζοντας 60s έως 90s ακούσματα, περιγράφοντας εικόνες από αυτά που ζήσαμε, ζούμε και θα δούμε.

Τα μέλη των Diesel Cindy υπήρξαν παλαιότερα σε μπάντες όπως οι One Man Drop, Vibratore Bizarro, Delightful, Tuxedo Conspiracy, Edgar Allan Band, Tsiri Band, Blame Canada, Syde, Quake, Serpent ενώ κάποιοι είναι  παράλληλα ενεργοί στους Headquake και The Same River. Όλοι τους έχουν περιοδεύσει στο παρελθόν ανά την Ελλάδα.

Η ένωση των τεσσάρων μελών κάτω από το όνομα Diesel Cindy έφερε σαν αποτέλεσμα το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ με τίτλο “Spill The Dirt” το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε το Νοέμβρη του 2023 απο την Sound Effect Records ( Αθήνα ) αποσπώντας ήδη θετικές κριτικές.

They draw influences from many different styles of music including traditional music from all around the world, rock, prog, jazz etc. The project was created in 2022 by Odysseas Psarras (Bass), Jason Tsourelis (Guitar), Nikos Visvikis (Drums), Myrto Mari (Flute) and Vasiliki Asimakopoulou (Vocals). They’re creating original compositions that bridge the gap between musical genres, giving birth to  new soundscapes, as well as working on the recomposition of various folk songs, providing an interplay of tradition with the universal and contemporary rock band sound.
