]]> Iara Dias is an entrepreneur, author, and musician with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of music, technology, and immersive digital experiences. As the former Partnerships Manager and Producer at Decentraland, she played a pivotal role in onboarding artists, brands, and labels into the metaverse and led flagship projects such as the Metaverse Music Festival, Metaverse Pride, and Metaverse Fashion Week.

Beyond her work in the metaverse, Iara has held product management roles at startups in the music industry, working with blockchain technology to streamline payments for songwriters, develop all-in-one music distribution solutions, and create virtual concerts and immersive experiences in virtual reality. She has also collaborated with companies and artists to develop their careers, with a strong focus on digital strategies and technological innovation.

A recognized thought leader in music technology, Web3, NFTs, and direct-to-avatar economies, Iara has extensively explored artist-fan relationships, digital merchandise, and new revenue models in the evolving digital landscape.

Now, as the CEO of ikkio, she is pioneering AI-driven smart glasses applications, pushing the boundaries of spatial computing and accessibility. She will share insights on how emerging technologies are reshaping the music industry, offering strategies for artists and companies to thrive in the metaverse and beyond.

]]> Ο Jef Maarawi, γεννημένος στο Σάο Πάολο και με καταγωγή από την Ελλάδα, τη Βραζιλία και τη Συρία, ξεκίνησε το μουσικό του ταξίδι στην Αθήνα σε ηλικία 17 ετών. Ο ήχος του, ένας συνδυασμός Αμερικανών θρύλων της φολκ, όπως ο Bob Dylan και ο Sufjan Stevens, της έντασης συγκροτημάτων της δεκαετίας του ’90, όπως οι Pixies και οι Nirvana, και των ζωντανών ρυθμών της βραζιλιάνικης Tropicália, όπως ο Jorge Ben Jor και ο Caetano Veloso, τον κάνει να ξεχωρίζει.

Με τρία άλμπουμ υπό την αιγίδα της διακεκριμένης ελληνικής δισκογραφικής Inner Ear Records, συστήθηκε στο κοινό ως Egg Hell με το Once Part of a Whole Ship το 2014 και συνέχισε με τα Comfort Food το 2017 και Terra Papagalli το 2021, πλέον ως Jef Maarawi.

Το πιο πρόσφατο άλμπουμ του, Gospel, ηχογραφήθηκε μέσα σε μόλις επτά ημέρες και αποτελεί μια ωμή αντανάκλαση της ανθεκτικότητας, ένα πικρό γλυκό αντίο πριν από μια μεγάλη περίοδο στη Βραζιλία. Το Gospel αντλεί έμπνευση από την ατμόσφαιρα καλλιτεχνών της Αυστραλίας, όπως ο Gareth Liddiard και η Grace Cummings, και την ψυχή της βραζιλιάνικης σκηνής.
