Half \u03a4win \u0392rother is an indie, alternative-rock, lo-fi band from Athens, Greece. Their discography consists of shoegaze, noise-pop, post-rock, post-punk, alternative music with occasional acoustic and lo-fi sensibilities. Their latest work, “Homecoming”, consists the epilogue of One-Star, their debut album, offering a closure to its story. Music-wise it evolves around pop punk, indie rock sensibilities adding to the theatrical atmosphere of the lyrics and wrapped up in their siganture raw, DIY production. The band did its debut as an one man DIY project, which led to the constitution of a full-band embodied by six people. New sounds and experimentation started to pop up after that, bringing new musical elements to the table. Their discography consists of four full-length albums ( One-Star, Our Memories Sleep When we Visit our Basement, A Sudden Presence Like a Burst of Song and Homecoming), one EP (Summertime), a live unplugged album (Protolio) and numerous singles to represent their three years work. Every album has a different sound, aesthetic, and character, testing the limits of the band production wise and songwriting wise. They are currently performing live in Greece and keep working in their upcoming albums.<\/p>
