Her comics are published in Europe and the U.S.A. For her personal work she finds inspiration in important social subjects like the refugee crisis, climate crisis, women\u2019s rights, etc. as well as autofiction. Next to her artistic work, she is active in promoting the visibility of women in the field of comics. She is the author of \u00ab Ona se Budi \/ BD \u00e9galit\u00e9 \u00bb, a group exhibition that featured over 50 female artists from Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and France (2018).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>This year, she co-founded a collective of women comic artists in Serbia named Comic-Aunties, whose mission is to encourage the creation of original comics by young artists, male and female alike, as well boost visibility of female comic artists in Serbia. Thais leads research projects focused on GenderData, and assessments on technological developments and technological consulting services for digital products and services. Another major focus of her work is promoting diversity and gender policies for technology companies, public administrations, and other organizations. She also organizes workshops, training sessions, and hackathons. Thais regularly mentors technological projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Before founding DigitalFems, Thais built her career in technology starting in 1999 through various roles and responsibilities. Notable positions include co-managing Thoughtworks, where, in addition to launching the company's operations, she founded LaT, a citizen technopolitical laboratory focused on technological sovereignty, privacy, and social digital innovation. She also supported the creation of CAD, the Center for Digital Autonomy, and led the Digital Communication Strategy at the Barcelona City Council.
