Carina is also the Founder and Chair of Women in Music Romania and in 2020 she launched her own artist management & brand partnership company, Watermelon Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yana Adamovic is a comic book author and illustrator from Belgrade, Serbia. Her comics are published in Europe and the U.S.A. For her personal work she finds inspiration in important social subjects like the refugee crisis, climate crisis, women\u2019s rights, etc. as well as autofiction. Next to her artistic work, she is active in promoting the visibility of women in the field of comics. She is the author of \u00ab Ona se Budi \/ BD \u00e9galit\u00e9 \u00bb, a group exhibition that featured over 50 female artists from Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and France (2018). <\/p>\n\n\n\n This year, she co-founded a collective of women comic artists in Serbia named Comic-Aunties, whose mission is to encourage the creation of original comics by young artists, male and female alike, as well boost visibility of female comic artists in Serbia. In 2019, she was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the Republic of France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thais is the founder and Executive Director of DigitalFems, a non-profit organization that promotes female presence in technology-related environments. Thais leads research projects focused on GenderData, and assessments on technological developments and technological consulting services for digital products and services. Another major focus of her work is promoting diversity and gender policies for technology companies, public administrations, and other organizations. She also organizes workshops, training sessions, and hackathons. Thais regularly mentors technological projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before founding DigitalFems, Thais built her career in technology starting in 1999 through various roles and responsibilities. Notable positions include co-managing Thoughtworks, where, in addition to launching the company's operations, she founded LaT, a citizen technopolitical laboratory focused on technological sovereignty, privacy, and social digital innovation. She also supported the creation of CAD, the Center for Digital Autonomy, and led the Digital Communication Strategy at the Barcelona City Council. She is currently member of the Board of Algorights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Some notable projects at DigitalFems include MusicDataUPC.org, DatosContraElRuido.org, GenderDataLab.org, Tecnologas.org, and EllesMusic. Thais holds a degree in Law and has completed postgraduate studies in Social and Political Theory, as well as Cultural Public Policies. She pursued doctoral studies in Political Theory and Public Policies at Pompeu Fabra University. She regularly participates as a speaker and has given talks at events such as the Biennial of Thought, Digital Future Society.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aggelos Kleitsikas grew up in Athens, in an environment where music was not merely a soundtrack but a way of thinking. Since 2015, he has been actively involved as a music and culture journalist, with his work published in leading Greek media outlets such as Avopolis.gr, LIFO, SONIK, and Rolling Stone Greece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Alongside this, he has built a strong professional background in marketing, PR, and strategic communication, collaborating with major international brands. In recent years, he has also worked on a wide range of cultural projects as part of the team at Technopolis City of Athens. This experience has allowed him to creatively bridge the cultural and corporate worlds, translating vision into narrative and content into strategy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As Artistic Director of Athens Jazz, the country\u2019s oldest and largest jazz festival, he envisions further strengthening its international identity, its active support of the local jazz community, and its contemporary artistic direction.
