Alona works in the music industry for almost a decade. Starting as a volunteer for the music festival she soon grew to the position of program director taking care of 100+ acts performing the biggest festival stages in Ukraine. She believes in the power of education and networking having done the music exchange projects in Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and even in the Middle East (Kyrgyzstan, hello!). Along with a colleague she co-founded Music Export Ukraine, an independent organisation that helps Ukrainian artists build international careers. Since then, she showcased local talents at professional events in more than 20 countries, lobbied sector needs in Ukraine and Europe, did dozens of international projects, became the expert in European funding. And strangely, she still enjoys music!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carina Sava is a music business professional with more than 14 years of experience in artist management, booking, brand partnership, music marketing and communications. With a masters degree in Artist Management at Berklee College of Music, she is the Co-founder and Vice President of RAW Music Association and the Conference Program Manager of Mastering the Music Business Conference and Showcase Festival, the leading music business event in Romania. Carina is also the Founder and Chair of Women in Music Romania and in 2020 she launched her own artist management & brand partnership company, Watermelon Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Katja leads partnerships and sponsorships of the SHARPE festival and works as Project Manager of a LALA Slovak Music Export. Katja is a booker of several Slovak bands (Tolstoys, Isama Zing, Sam Handwich, God and Eve and so on). <\/p>\n\n\n\n As a production manager she is involved in Flaam festival and seasonally in the biggest Slovak music festivals as Pohoda, Febiofest or Next festival. Occasionally she collaborates with other festivals, cultural events and artists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Katja is PhD student at Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where she runs a couple of lectures as a teacher. Her activities also include popularisation of working in culture and music industry. She is part of emerging DJ duo Benefits with Friends. She was selected in the chart of The New Bosses 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anca Lupes is one of the most experienced professionals in the Romanian music business. One of her most important advantages is that during her career she works in almost all the areas of this industry: mass media (press, radio, TV), concert organising, record companies, music publishing, management and booking agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Due to her extensive experience, in 2006 she starts teaching music business in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2009 she becomes the first Romanian music business professional to graduate the Master in Music Business program from Berkelee College of Music (Boston, USA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2016 she founds the first international music business conference in Romania \u2013 Mastering The Music Business conference & showcase festival \u2013 which quickly becomes a relevant professional event in the CSEE area. As a project manager at Music Export Ukraine, she leads international capacity building projects, such as Eastern European Music Academy, which develops 60+ emerging music industry professionals from 12 countries with every edition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, Marianna manages networking and collaborative projects for Ukrainian artists and managers to help their development on the international level, aiming Ukrainian music to be loved worldwide! Marianna also organizes international and local interdisciplinary festivals at the Ukrainian cinematheque - Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Centre, supervises event spaces to host film screenings and various performing arts events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
