From the power of HEMI Incubator, two alumni arise. Their project, Sync About It, is the first and aims to be the most relevant, conference and songwriting camp dedicated exclusively to music synchronisation in Central & Eastern Europe and will take place in Bucharest, Romania, in early 2025. <\/p>
Participants will be presented with a success story, evolving from idea to fetching European grants, and why an event focused on music sync is long due in the area, especially with the opportunity to work on real client briefs.<\/p>

With over 13 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry, Andra Vasile has become a prominent figure in Central and Eastern Europe. Currently serving as Sync Manager and A&R Administrator at Global Records, she manages a vast catalog of songs and works closely with over 80 artists. Her role involves overseeing operations across 18 studios, with a strong focus on music synchronization, which has been a key part of her career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2023, Andra co-founded Sync About It, the first conference and music camp in the region dedicated to music synchronization. Held in Bucharest, Romania, the event serves as a platform for songwriters and producers to collaborate on projects aligned with briefs from music supervisors, promoting knowledge exchange, best practices and industry trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Andra\u2019s career spans multiple fields of the music business, including PR, artist management, booking, event organization and A&R. She also manages the alternative rock band Gramofone, who have released two albums and performed at major festivals. Beyond her roles in music, she has been the PR Manager for East European Comic Con for over 11 years, acting as a spokesperson for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, Andra contributes to soundcheck management at the Beach, Please! festival, Europe\u2019s largest urban festival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her varied experience and genuine love for music and culture inspire her to keep learning and contributing to the field in meaningful ways. Driven by her passion, she constantly seeks to expand her knowledge and bring fresh perspectives to the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is designed to build a bridge across European music segments and professionals who can benefit from sync, hence encouraging international cooperation through the circulation of music and good practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n But she also worked with music festivals like Neversea, SAGA and Massif, or brands like Mastercard and Pepsi that involved music in their campaigns as Project Manager on behalf of Advertising agencies. Adina has also worked for most of the Film Festivals in Romania, including Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), where for 5 years she took over the music bookings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Recently she took over Comms & Social Media for Control Club (the most active one in the city) with focus on Live Acts, but not limited. She also turned to being an artist manager and agent for +SHE+, a fierce woman-led musical project from Romania.
