By day, she's diving into the world of e-commerce and digital marketing, where her main focus is on making people stay sharp and see the world clearly. Anna's not one for the spotlight, but her passion for music and community speaks volumes. During the last edition of Eastern European Music Academy, she joined forces with industry collegues to explore ways to optimize any operation in the music business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Carlotta, part of the energetic DJ duo \u00d6\u00d6, has been actively contributing to the Estonian house music scene for the past five years. Her journey began with a deep appreciation for music and a desire to share it with others. Carlotta has had the privilege of gracing stages at notable events such as the electronic music festival K\u00f5u, the theatre festival Draama, and the admired LGBTQ+ event series Vikerruum, earning recognition for her spirited performances. While Carlotta values her role as a performer, she finds equal fulfillment in her behind-the-scenes work as an event organizer. Through her event series such as \u00d6\u00d6, Motivatsi\u00f6\u00f6n, and S\u00fcmbioos, she strives to create inclusive spaces for music lovers to come together and celebrate their shared passion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Carlotta's success can be attributed to the meaningful connections she has forged within the local music community. Collaborating with like-minded artists and venues has enriched her artistic journey and led to unforgettable experiences for audiences. Based in Tartu, the European Capital of Culture 2024, Carlotta finds inspiration in her surroundings and looks forward to the exciting opportunities that this year holds. With her unwavering dedication to her craft and a deep love for house music, Carlotta continues to contribute to the Estonian music scene, one heartfelt performance at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ummsbiaus is an experimental multidisciplinary artist working in the field of music and visual art. In 2023, she released her debut album Enerhomor, based on the sounds of electricity (electricity meters, sounds of power stations and electricity transformers), which was named among the best albums 2023 in the leading Ukrainian webzine Slukh and the international magazine A Closer Listen. Later that year, she released the first Ukrainian electronic suite, Snovyda Suite No. 1, Op. 4, an experiment with sound reception during different stages of the sleep cycle. ummsbiaus is not only about music: it's about the idea of combining all possible forms of art to evoke feelings on different levels of perception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her latest project is an experimental folk album in collaboration with Ukrainian artist Difference Machine, titled \u201cHalfway Between the Origin and the Edge\u201d. It was created on the basis of a 2-hour recording session with Ukrainian folk musician and military medic Eduard Drach. This album looks at the coexistence of modern and archaic traits of Ukrainian traditional music. The main idea of this collaborative project is to think about the way samples of traditional instruments can be re-worked with modern tools to create a unique sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
