She oversees a cross-disciplinary portfolio across music, opera and digital arts, specialising in innovation, digitalisation and cross-sectoral collaboration in the cultural and media sectors. At European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission, she leads the European Music Networks and Platforms, representing the music industry, opera and performing arts. She previously managed the \u2018Access to Finance\u2019 action under the EU\u2019s MEDIA programme. Her background spans EU programmes in research, innovation and entrepreneurship along with funding performance management and independent evaluation, following earlier works in the private communications sector, the IFPI and the BBC World Service. She read communications and media policies, copyright and music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ms. Demie Goudoufa has been Deputy General Manager of Strategy and Sustainable Development since December 2023. She has been with the National Bank of Greece since 2006, having previously served as Head of the International Activities Division (2013\u20132015) and Head of the Strategy Division (2015\u20132019). From 2019 to 2023, she was Director of the CEO\u2019s Office under Mr. Pavlos Mylonas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before joining the National Bank of Greece, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Corporate Finance team (2000\u20132006), participating in numerous projects related to the financial sector. She began her career at Alpha Bank (1998\u20132000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n She holds a BSc in Economics (First Class Honours) from University College London (UCL) and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).
