Stavros Gasparatos is a composer, sound artist and curator. Apart from his personal works, he composes music for Theatre, Cinema and Dance. Since 2022 he is a consultant on contemporary music and mixed media projects at the Athens and Epidaurus Festivals.<\/p>

Since 2000 he has composed music for more than 150 productions, collaborating with very important Greek and foreign creators – institutions (National Theatre, Athens Festival, Onassis Stegi, Epidaurus Festival, Megaron Music Hall, National Opera House, Neos Kosmos Theatre- Ryerson Theatre School – Toronto, Mime Festival – London, Dock 11, Ballhaus NS – Berlin, De Wagg – Amsterdam, Macau C. C. – China, Paris Villette, EMPAC – N.Y., Dallas Opera , BAM – New York OnassisCC NY, The Watermill Center – NY, The Glass House – NY, Documenta14 – Kassel, Remai Modern, Canada, Performa19 – NY, Pulitzer Arts Fundation – St Louis. ) <\/p>

Between 2017 and 2020, he was responsible for the Transmedia Lab at the Greek National Opera. And in 2019 – 2022 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Festival.<\/p>
