Born to Ghanaian parents in the economically deprived Athenian district of Ampelokipi, and growing up in the neglected neighborhood of Kypseli (and its surroundings), Black Morris took his first tentative steps in the world of Greek rap alongside the legendary MC Taki Chan. Since then he has continued to enrich his unique and intuitive voice along with the new blood of his hometown. In 2014 the Thessaloniki Hip Hop Festival awarded Black Morris the title of Best New Artist of the Year. In 2018 he released his second album, an independent production entitled H.E.A.L.T.H. (How Economy And Love Tortured Humanity).<\/p>
