Yaw is a global citizen, born in Botswana to Ghanaian parents, a former Londoner for 15 years, and now based in Spain. 20+ years in the music business, Yaw is a Creative Entrepreneur, <\/em>bridging the worlds of culture and startup innovation.<\/p>

Started out as an artist, but fumbled and fell into the business of music. He cut his teeth at the legendary Deal Real Records (London), working on campaigns for UMG and Sony imprints, and tours like Amy Winehouse\u2019s legendary Back to Black and Kanye\u2019s Glow in the dark.<\/p>

 In 2013, he founded DooWapp<\/strong>, an award-winning music messaging startup that pioneered short-form licensing deals with Universal Music and Sony ATV. <\/p>

Yaw later became Managing Director at Airbit<\/strong> alongside its Founder (acquired by BandLab), helping usher in the \u201cSoundCloud Rapper\u201d era by equipping producers with tools to monetize music on the leading Beats Marketplace.<\/p>

Today, Yaw works with MusicTechs TwoShot <\/strong>and StreamPush <\/strong>as well as Innovation Hubs Culttech & ADE (Chorus)<\/strong>. He\u2019s also the creator and host of Mudder Fracas<\/strong>, a podcast celebrating daring entrepreneurs reshaping culture.<\/p>

Specializing in Strategy + Business Development, Yaw has a core belief: Creativity and Technology are a match made in heaven\u2026 when combined with intention, can unlock new paths to independence. At AMW, he brings that same energy to the panel \u201cFueling the Dream: Managing Pressure, Conquering Doubt, and Staying Balanced,\u201d and a live edition of Mudder Fracas, his podcast where he chews the fat with \u201cMudder Fracas\u201d who dare to change sh*t.<\/p>
