Danai Nielsen is a Greek-Danish musician known for her space-pop \/ dream-pop and
avant-garde sound. She crafts her music using samples, loops, synthesizers, and vocal
effects, while also focusing on visual storytelling\u2014often designing her own costumes and
directing the artistic vision of her projects.
In 2021, she released her debut album, Who Are They, a conceptual work exploring the
relationship between a futuristic robotic alter ego and a human woman. She has
performed at events like TEDxAthens, as well as festivals and showcases across Greece
and Europe. Additionally, she has composed music for theatre productions, commercial
projects, and television music programs.
Since the release of her debut album, one of the most transformative experiences in her
life has been becoming a mother, bringing her new inspiration and perspective. She is
currently in the studio working on her second album, a deeply personal project that
reflects where she is now, both artistically and creatively.<\/p>
