{"id":28001,"date":"2025-04-25T13:36:33","date_gmt":"2025-04-25T10:36:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.athensmusicweek.gr\/?post_type=speaker&#038;p=28001"},"modified":"2025-05-03T21:31:20","modified_gmt":"2025-05-03T18:31:20","slug":"stephen-beanz-rudden-uk","status":"publish","type":"speaker","link":"https:\/\/www.athensmusicweek.gr\/el\/speakers\/stephen-beanz-rudden-uk\/","title":{"rendered":"Stephen \u201cBeanz\u201d Rudden (UK)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stephen \u201cBeanz\u201d Rudden is a producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist best known for the ground-breaking UK Top 5 hit Love City Groove\u2014the first rap track ever chosen to represent the UK at Eurovision.&nbsp;<\/p><p>He first emerged in the mid-80s with experimental group Smell Funky Beast, then worked behind the scenes with synth-pop Kissing the Pink, before launching his solo production alias, Plutonic, in 1990. with his bold reimagining of Mike Oldfield\u2019s Tubular Bells, led to a record deal with CBS and a publishing contract with Warner\/Chappell.<\/p><p>Beanz expanded into film and TV, his credits include chart pop, film scores, and game music\u2014from Miramax\u2019s The Real Howard Spitz to composing Disney\u2019s Astro Knights and the UK pre-school series Raindrops.<\/p><p>Over the last decade, he\u2019s become a Eurovision song writing force\u2014penning entries for Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Malta.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Recently, writing J &amp;
