Olga Sismanidi is a senior expert in EU funding and project management in the Creative Europe programme. She oversees a cross-disciplinary portfolio across music, opera and digital arts, specialising in innovation, digitalisation and cross-sectoral collaboration in the cultural and media sectors. At European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission, she leads the European Music Networks and Platforms, representing the music industry, opera and performing arts. She previously managed the \u2018Access to Finance\u2019 action under the EU\u2019s MEDIA programme. Her background spans EU programmes in research, innovation and entrepreneurship along with funding performance management and independent evaluation, following earlier works in the private communications sector, the IFPI and the BBC World Service. She read communications and media policies, copyright and music.<\/p>
