Is crisis something that happens to us, or something we can work with? And is the current shift in the media landscape a global crisis, or a moment of change? Instability can drive reinvention when approached with intent.
In this hands-on session, Kathrin Brunner (mYndstorm Productions) introduces Out of the Box – Turning Crisis Into Opportunity, a new programme launching this summer. Drawing on work across media, innovation and emerging tech, the session looks at what happens when structures begin to crack, why that opens up new possibilities, and how to position yourself within them.
The workshop focuses on how the media and music industries are changing under pressure from AI, consolidation and uncertainty. It considers how the nature of work is shifting, and how existing skills can be adapted and applied in new contexts to build resilience and move into emerging spaces between traditional markets.
60-minute interactive session: introduction and overview, shared future mapping, discussion and Q&A.
