Bringing together voices from across music, culture, creative industries and technology, the event creates a space for exchange around some of the questions that continue to shape our ecosystem:

How can music and culture contribute to more resilient societies, supporting artists, professionals and the creative economy?
And how can they act as drivers for cities and regions, through stronger collaboration between public institutions, industry stakeholders and the creative community?

The gathering also marks the beginning of this year’s collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Athen, bringing the Greek and German creative scenes closer and opening the dialogue around diversity, cultural production and European cooperation.

At its core, the event invites participants to explore how music can act as a bridge across sectors, connecting different efforts and contributing to more connected and resilient communities and societies.

The conversation will feature contributions from:
– Marc-André Schmachtel, Head of Cultural Department, Goethe-Institut Athens & Region Europe I
– Anouk Rigeade, Cultural Attachée, Institut Français de Grèce
– Manos Dedevessis, Co-founder, Stay Independent
– Alexandros Nousias, Legal Consultant & Research Associate, NCSR-D / Digital Law & Ethics

The event will take place at the Goethe-Institut Athens on March 30, from 18:00 to 21:00, with the discussion scheduled from 18:15 to 19:15.
The evening will then continue with an informal networking session and music, offering space for further exchange until 21:00.

Held between Sassari and Alghero, the initiative brings together workshops, showcases, and discussions exploring how tradition, sustainability, and new technologies are reshaping the live music experience. Organised by Carta da Musica and Le Ragazze Terribili with the artistic direction of Barbara Vargiu and curatorship of Federica Ceppa, the programme features contributions from Assomusica, regional partners, and European professionals from Greece, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, and the Baltic countries.

Beyond its local impact, Sardinia Music Hub stands as part of a wider regional network MESO continues to strengthen, alongside initiatives such as Ato JazZ in Sofia, MMB in Bucharest, So Alive Music Conference, and the Sicilia Music Conference. Each of these touchpoints contributes to a common purpose: to build a connected and innovative live music ecosystem across Southern and Eastern Europe.

From Sardinia to Athens, every partnership and encounter adds another piece to this shared roadmap, one that connects people, strengthens markets, and celebrates the diversity and creativity of the Mediterranean.

Το φετινό φεστιβάλ πραγματοποιήθηκε από τις 22 έως τις 26 Ιουνίου 2021, σε hybrid εκδοχή, στην Τεχνόπολη του Δήμου Αθηναίων. Όσοι συμμετείχαν, είχαν την ευκαιρία να ενημερωθούν για τις νέες τάσεις στη Μουσική Βιομηχανία μέσα από επιλεγμένες ομιλίες, παρουσιάσεις, εργαστήρια, σεμινάρια, showcases, αλλά και να απολαύσουν ζωντανά μία συναυλιακή βραδιά στην κεντρική σκηνή της Τεχνόπολης!

Πιο συγκεκριμένα, στο live εμφανίστηκαν τρία ηχηρά ονόματα που ξεχώρισαν την τελευταία χρονιά, κατακτώντας τα charts και την αγάπη του κοινού: το dream pop τρίτο των Atomic Love, ο ρομαντικός emo ράπερ Solmeister και ο επόμενος urban pop star Good Job Nicky, στην πρώτη του ζωντανή εμφάνιση!

Το Athens Music Week ολοκληρώνει τις δράσεις του με μία μεγάλη συναυλία στο Main Stage της Tεχνόπολης, το Σάββατο 26 Ιουνίου παρουσιάζοντας τους Έλληνες καλλιτέχνες που ξεχώρισαν την τελευταία χρονιά, σκαρφάλωσαν αστραπιαία στα charts, έγιναν viral σχεδόν εν μια νυκτί και σε κάθε story γράφουν ιστορία…

Tον “επόμενο urban pop star”, Goοd Job Nicky, στην πρώτη του ζωντανή εμφάνιση!

Ο Good Job Nicky έκανε το ντεμπούτο του στη δισκογραφία, τον Οκτώβριο του 2020, και σε λιγότερο από 24 ώρες το single “January 8th” έγινε trend στο Youtube φτάνοντας, σήμερα, τα 2 εκατομμύρια views. Οι αναζητήσεις στο Shazam έχουν χτυπήσει κόκκινο, ανεβάζοντας το pop single στα top digital charts ενώ έχει περιληφθεί σε πάνω από δυο χιλιάδες playlists στο Spotify έχοντας την υποστήριξη μεγάλων αγορών όπως η Ιταλία, η Τουρκία η Ρουμανία και το Ισραήλ.

Tον ρομαντικό emo ράπερ, Solmeister!

Ο αγαπημένος “Πρίγκιπας” μικρών και μεγάλων μιλάει κατευθείαν στην ψυχή με τους βιωματικούς στίχους και τον πολυδιάστατο ήχο του. Ένα κράμα rap, punk και emo που στο πέρασμά του παρασύρει μία ολόκληρη γενιά εφήβων! Η τελευταία του δισκογραφική δουλειά, “Τα Λέμε Στην Κόλαση”, κυκλοφόρησε το 2021 και τον βρίσκει να διανύει μια νέα πιο σκοτεινή εποχή με εμφανή την επιστροφή στις emo ρίζες του. Σε ένα ξεχωριστό μουσικό show και με την συνοδεία του Cool Kids Never Die full band, ο Solmeister μετά από πολύ καιρό εμφανίζεται live για ένα tribute στα όσα συνέβησαν, μια ωδή στα όσα συμβαίνουν και μια ενδοσκοπική ματιά στα όσα πρόκειται να συμβούν.

Dream pop μελωδίες, ψυχεδελικές κιθάρες και άφθονες λούπες συνθέτουν τον μουσικό κόσμο των Atomic Love που το 2021 κυκλοφόρησαν το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους με τίτλο, “Vol/1”. Το ανερχόμενο τρίο, που αποτελείται από τους Εύα Βασιλονικολού (φωνή, λούπες, στίχοι), Πάνο Λιάπη (κιθάρα) και Παύλο Μόρφη (πλήκτρα) υπήρξε ιδιαίτερα δραστήριο στο συναυλιακό πεδίο και αποτελεί μία από τις πιο ολοκληρωμένες, φιλόδοξες και πολλά υποσχόμενες μπάντες της indie pop σκηνής. Με βασικές επιρροές από Bjork, Αlt-j, Radiohead, London Grammar, Portishead, Florence and the Machine, προσπαθούν να εξερευνήσουν το παράδοξο, την εξέλιξη και την αυτοκαταστροφή μέσα σε μια ερωτική σχέση.
