Ο Jef Maarawi, γεννημένος στο Σάο Πάολο και με καταγωγή από την Ελλάδα, τη Βραζιλία και τη Συρία, ξεκίνησε το μουσικό του ταξίδι στην Αθήνα σε ηλικία 17 ετών. Ο ήχος του, ένας συνδυασμός Αμερικανών θρύλων της φολκ, όπως ο Bob Dylan και ο Sufjan Stevens, της έντασης συγκροτημάτων της δεκαετίας του ’90, όπως οι Pixies και οι Nirvana, και των ζωντανών ρυθμών της βραζιλιάνικης Tropicália, όπως ο Jorge Ben Jor και ο Caetano Veloso, τον κάνει να ξεχωρίζει.

Με τρία άλμπουμ υπό την αιγίδα της διακεκριμένης ελληνικής δισκογραφικής Inner Ear Records, συστήθηκε στο κοινό ως Egg Hell με το Once Part of a Whole Ship το 2014 και συνέχισε με τα Comfort Food το 2017 και Terra Papagalli το 2021, πλέον ως Jef Maarawi.

Το πιο πρόσφατο άλμπουμ του, Gospel, ηχογραφήθηκε μέσα σε μόλις επτά ημέρες και αποτελεί μια ωμή αντανάκλαση της ανθεκτικότητας, ένα πικρό γλυκό αντίο πριν από μια μεγάλη περίοδο στη Βραζιλία. Το Gospel αντλεί έμπνευση από την ατμόσφαιρα καλλιτεχνών της Αυστραλίας, όπως ο Gareth Liddiard και η Grace Cummings, και την ψυχή της βραζιλιάνικης σκηνής.

Elephant (GR)

Οι Elephant υπάρχουν από το 2018. Νιώθουν πως παίζουν alternative rock, χωρίς να το έχουν συνειδητοποιήσει απόλυτα. Δημιουργήθηκαν ένα από τα πολλά απογεύματα σε ένα στούντιο στα Γιάννενα, κάπου ανάμεσα από συζητήσεις για μουσική και δημιουργία, αναζητώντας τρόπους για να υπάρξουν συμβαδίζοντας με την πραγματικότητα. Λίγο καιρό μετά, δημιούργησαν τον full-length δίσκο ‘A Better Me’ που κυκλοφόρησε το καλοκαίρι του 2022. Περισσότερο από οτιδήποτε, έχουν ανάγκη την ενέργεια του live γι΄ αυτό και τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια έχουν συνυπάρξει με πολλούς καλλιτέχνες, διοργανώσεις και φεστιβάλ ανά την Ελλάδα. Με αφορμή την κυκλοφορία της νέας τους δουλειάς θα βρίσκονται σε εγχώριο τουρ τον χειμώνα και την άνοιξη του 2025.

Παιδί Τραύμα writes songs in a high apartment building in the center of the city. His true identity is revealed for the first time on his new album, ‘Mainstream’. In it. he recorded all the activities of a family who hosted him in their home last summer. “Mainstream” is released by United We Fly in April 2023.

Cinemon (PL)

An analog power trio from Cracow, Poland. Musically between classic rock, 90’s Seattle scene and contemporary alternative, they’re not shying away from experiments outside of the genres. It’s just supposed to be noisy and true.

Defying the “official industry”, they’ve been walking their own paths throughout the world – they’ve played a few hundred shows in 11 countries (including Canada, Germany, Ukraine, Macedonia and more).

Their discography consists of 7 releases, on their favourite vinyls, too Worked with the best people of rock, such as Mark Rains (Rival Sons) or Denis Blackham (Eric Clapton, Black Sabbath).

Their music gets airplay regularly on the best alternative radio stations in Poland (357, Antyradio, Trojka) but, still, it tastes the best served live. You can test this statement on AMW!

Mongooz And The Magnet (HU)

Οι Mongooz And The Magnet είναι ένα τρίο (κουαρτέτο από το 2020) που αποτελείται από τέσσερις από την Ιρλανδία, τη Νορβηγία και την Ουγγαρία. Σχηματίστηκαν το 2015 από τους Magnus (Νορβηγία) και Ian (Ιρλανδία) κατά τη διάρκεια των ιατρικών σπουδών τους στη Νότια Ουγγαρία και πολύ γρήγορα βρέθηκαν να παίζουν σε μουσικές σκηνές της Ουγγαρίας, τη Γερμανίας, τη Ρουμανίας, την Πολωνίας, της Εσθονία, της Κορέα και της Ιαπωνίας.

Ο ήχος τους αντλεί επιρροές από τον Hendrix με δυνατές ροκ κιθαριστικές γραμμές και σαγηνευτικούς ρυθμούς.
