Danai Nielsen is a Greek-Danish musician known for her space-pop / dream-pop and
avant-garde sound. She crafts her music using samples, loops, synthesizers, and vocal
effects, while also focusing on visual storytelling—often designing her own costumes and
directing the artistic vision of her projects.
In 2021, she released her debut album, Who Are They, a conceptual work exploring the
relationship between a futuristic robotic alter ego and a human woman. She has
performed at events like TEDxAthens, as well as festivals and showcases across Greece
and Europe. Additionally, she has composed music for theatre productions, commercial
projects, and television music programs.
Since the release of her debut album, one of the most transformative experiences in her
life has been becoming a mother, bringing her new inspiration and perspective. She is
currently in the studio working on her second album, a deeply personal project that
reflects where she is now, both artistically and creatively.

Η Danai Nielsen είναι Ελληνοδανή μουσικός και συνθέτρια, γνωστή για τον πειραματικό
space-pop / dream-pop ήχο της και τις avant-garde συνθέσεις. Δημιουργεί μουσική
χρησιμοποιώντας samples, loops, synthesizers και φωνητικά εφέ, ενώ δίνει ιδιαίτερη
έμφαση στην οπτική αφήγηση, σχεδιάζοντας συχνά η ίδια τα κοστούμια και την
καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση των projects της.
Το 2021 κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο της άλμπουμ, Who Are They, ένα conceptual έργο που
εξερευνά τη σχέση μεταξύ ενός ρομποτικού alter ego και μιας ανθρώπινης γυναικείας
μορφής. Έχει εμφανιστεί σε διοργανώσεις όπως το TEDxAthens, καθώς και σε φεστιβάλ
και μουσικές σκηνές στην Ελλάδα και την Ευρώπη. Παράλληλα, έχει συνθέσει μουσική
για θεατρικές παραστάσεις, εμπορικά και τηλεοπτικά projects.
Η πιο καθοριστική εμπειρία στη ζωή της ήταν το 2023 όπου έγινε μητέρα, δίνοντας νέα
έμπνευση και προοπτική.
Αυτή την περίοδο βρίσκεται στο στούντιο, δουλεύοντας πάνω στο δεύτερο άλμπουμ της,
ένα προσωπικό έργο που αντανακλά το παρόν της καλλιτεχνικά και δημιουργικά.

Jesper Mardahl (DK)

With almost 40 years as a professional in the Danish music industry, Jesper Mardahl has been around most corners of the music scene. Initially quite literally as a musician, but since then most “behind the scenes” in the role of A&R manager, producer, label manager, and promotion and marketing manager at many of the leading music companies in Denmark, including big local labels such as Genlyd Grammofon, Medley Records and Sonet Dansk Grammofon, but also working for major labels such as BMG Ariola and EMI Music. Later as project manager at the country’s largest music magazine, GAFFA, co-developer of the Music Management program at the Royal Academy of Music, and now as the managing director of the country’s only network platform for the professional music community, Promus.

Furthermore, Jesper has been the initiator of Music City Aarhus and co-founder of the international, Music Cities Network, and a panelist and speaker at international industry festivals such as SXSW, Eurosonic, By:Larm, Canadian Music Week, Reeperbahn Festival, Vill Vill Vest & The Great Escape. Since 2015, Jesper has also been the conference manager for SPOT + – the conference branch of the SPOT Festival, and just recently he was appointed chief secretary for the Music City Aarhus 2022-project – a year-round project celebrating music in all its forms kickstarting the music post-Covid 19.

From Multi-Platinum selling Songwriter, Recording and touring Artist (Parlophone) and Record Producer to Head of A&R at EMI Music, Member of EMI’s A&R committee, Executive Producer (DR/Danish National Broadcast) Creative Director & Head of Film and TV at Music Sales Group to Music Supervisor.

Nis has synchronized music to more than 150 commercials, TV series and feature films and shared his experience and knowledge about the music industry as both a speaker, moderator and education advisor at A&R Worldwide/Musexpo L.A., Midem Cannes, Sync summit Paris, Spot Festival Denmark; Les Arcs European Film Festival, Sync summit Helsinki, MaMA Conference Paris, London Sync Session, an Artist Mentor at Music Estonia VOLÜÜM mentoring program, Berklee Global Career Summit in Valencia and is among the founding partners of Europe in Synch.
