
Jenny Carroll is an Artist Manager at Rockstar Management, and has worked at the company for ten years. Her roster includes Jamie Cullum (Universal/Island), Singer songwriter Billy Lockett, blues folk duo Ferris & Sylvester (PIAS),UK country songwriter Laura Oakes, Nashvillian based songwriter Jeff Cohen, popstar Viddy and folk duo Virens.
A graduate of The University of Liverpool with a degree in Music/Popular Music, Jenny began her career in the music industry at Stoked PR (Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift) before moving on to a role at the legendary Decca Records as a Radio and TV plugger. Alongside acts including Alfie Boe, Gregory Porter, Tori Amos and Gareth Malone, Jenny worked on The Shires – the UK’s biggest selling country duo – and the campaign for their Gold certified debut album Brave. This led to Jenny becoming The Shires’ tour manager for their first ever UK tour in 2014, and her first taste of artist management.
Since working at Rockstar Management, Jenny has managed artists of varying size, fame and development in their careers. This includes working gigs on global scale (Glastonbury, Seoul Jazz Festival, Sziget, MAD Cool) and working alongside major record labels (Island, Chrysalis, Decca Records), publishers (Sony ATV, BMG, Wixen) and booking agents (CAA, Wasserman, Runway Artists). To working with emerging artists, developing them, mobilising teams, securing gigs, striking up relationships with industry contacts and help develop artists to a point where they can begin and then sustain their careers for the the long term.
