Julian Brimmers is a writer, music journalist and film maker based in Cologne, Germany. He’s been working in music for 15 years, for record companies, as a journalist (publishing in English & German), and radio/podcast host. 

From 2011-2018 Julian had been a staff editor at Red Bull Music Academy, and in 2020 his feature-length documentary We Almost Lost Bochum saw its theatrical release. 

Since 2019 Julian is a culture and music consultant for Kickstarter, especially for the European markets.
