Magdalena Sotirova co-founded Monte Music (established in 2008, later rebranded as Monte Productions) together with one of Bulgaria’s leading artists, composer and producer Grafa. The company has played a key role in artist development, music production and live events in the Bulgarian music industry.

With a background in finance and further studies in public relations and advertising, she combines strategic thinking with hands-on experience. Over the years, she has contributed to the development and positioning of artists such as Mihaela Fileva, Preya, Billy Hlapeto and VenZy.

In recent years, her work has expanded towards artist management, music supervision and the integration of music and musicians into advertising and brand projects, alongside ongoing production and promoter activity.

Mila is currently vice-chair of the board of Bulgarian Music Association (BMA) responsible for the International and music export activities of the organisation and a board member of European Music Council.

Peter Dimitrov is the founder and director of Bulgaria’s acclaimed A to JazZ Festival. Committed to
promoting jazz, world, and improvised music, he actively fosters engagement among young
audiences and elevates Bulgaria’s music scene on the international stage.

With a background in music, media, and cultural economics, Peter has successfully developed
sustainable models for the music and festival industries in Bulgaria while building a strong
international network in cultural and artistic exchange. His latest passion lies in advancing
sustainability in the festival sector and strengthening collaborations between music festivals and
cultural operators across the Balkan region and Europe.

Before establishing himself as one of Bulgaria’s leading cultural managers, he worked as a media
producer and radio host at Darik Radio and served as director of the prestigious international
media festival Mediamixx.

more than 50 key clients annually, and a non-governmental organization focused on supporting
international cultural dialogue, sectoral policies and the arts.

Galya Tityukova – Gallya (BG)

Berlin- and Ibiza-based DJ and producer Gallya is a well-known name in the electronic music scene. Whether crafting a rolling techno bassline or a dynamic tech-house track, Gallya’s ability to consistently deliver dark, immersive, yet vibrant productions has made her a force to be reckoned with. After multiple releases on mau5trap and two remixes of Deadmau5, she reached a turning point in her career and decided to shift back to tech-house—the genre where her journey originally began.

In 2015, she launched her own label, Set About, in partnership with Metodi Hristov. Though still relatively young, Set About has quickly become one of the most highly respected labels in techno, releasing music from artists such as GusGus, Dennis Cruz, Stefano Noferini, Matt Sassari, and more. The label has provided Gallya with a platform not only to release her own music but also to support artists she’s passionate about from around the world.

Gallya’s breakthrough moment came in 2016 when she was nominated as one of Beatport’s Top Tech House Artists. By releasing a slew of successful EPs on labels like Set About, Off Recordings, Kinetika, Deeperfect, and Elrow Music, she carved out her place at the forefront of mind-bending techno and dark, driving tech-house. Through label showcases in South America and Europe, she built a strong international fan base, solidifying her reputation as a sought-after artist.

Her evolution continued in 2017 with a series of standout EPs, including Detroit, Felicity, and Control, released on Set About, Funk’n Deep Records, and Say What? Records, respectively. Each release helped shape an even bigger, more distinctive sound.

Her track Machines broke into the Beatport Techno Top 100, peaking at #16 and remaining in the charts for an entire month. The track gained support from top techno DJs, including Deadmau5, who played it on BBC Radio 1 Residency, ultimately leading to Gallya signing with his label mau5trap for several releases in 2018 and 2019. Beyond its DJ-world success, Machines was also featured in a major film, fueling Gallya’s inspiration to pursue longer-term production goals, including scoring horror movies.

As she continues to evolve, Gallya remains dedicated to pushing boundaries through both music and global touring. With releases on Set About South under her belt and another mau5trap EP on the way, she stands as one of the hardest-working, most prolific, and most promising talents in electronic music today.

Alexander Mihaylov & His Patardia (BG)

Alexander Mihaylov is a Bulgarian folk and jazz musician, who has found creative expression through two very distinct instruments – kaval (a traditional Bulgarian wooden flute) and saxophone. Drawing from his deep roots in both folk and jazz, he merges these influences to shape rich ethno-jazz soundscapes that flow effortlessly between tradition and contemporary expression.

His quintet, “Alexander Mihaylov & His Patardia” takes its name from his debut album, Patardia – a Bulgarian word meaning “noise and uproar” as well as the fusion of contrasting sounds. True to its name, the project thrives on unexpected musical combinations, intertwining the ancient tones of the kaval with modern influences. The result is a vibrant fusion that redefines the instrument’s possibilities, pushing it beyond its traditional roots into bold, new territories.

Mihaylov is joined by an exceptional group of musicians, each adding their own distinctive touch to the band’s sound – Ilko Gradev (keyboards, accordion) enriches the music with harmonic depth, Georgi Popov (percussion) provides intricate rhythmic layers, Georgi Uzunov (bass guitar) lays down dynamic grooves, and Viktor Radanov (drums) drives the pulse with both subtlety and power.
