Starting as a young composer, I received my first paycheck from music royalties in 2004, when my song represented Greece at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The music industry’s system of remuneration based on copyright, became a huge incentive to keep learning and investing in music. Copyright paid for new music equipment, musical instruments and funded my Bachelor studies in Music Technology (Kingston University, London).
Later, during my Master’s studies in Music Management (UiA, Norway), I was fortunate enough to be guided by bright minds from both industry and academia, namely:
Prof. Bendik Hofseth, Dr. Roger Wallis, Prof. Daniel Nordgård and the extraordinary Peter Jenner (Artist Manager for Pink Floyd, The Clash, Billy Bragg, T.Rex).
Since 2016, I have worked as a Copyright Consultant (music licensing) with professional experience from PRS for Music, International Copyright Enterprise (ICE), Heaven 11 and currently leading Copyright at Broma 16. Throughout my career I have been involved in international copyright/tech projects together with NORCODE, WIPO and Creative Europe-EU Commision, to name a few. Nice to meet you!
