Stavros Gasparatos is a composer, sound artist and curator. Apart from his personal works, he composes music for Theatre, Cinema and Dance. Since 2022 he is a consultant on contemporary music and mixed media projects at the Athens and Epidaurus Festivals.

Since 2000 he has composed music for more than 150 productions, collaborating with very important Greek and foreign creators – institutions (National Theatre, Athens Festival, Onassis Stegi, Epidaurus Festival, Megaron Music Hall, National Opera House, Neos Kosmos Theatre- Ryerson Theatre School – Toronto, Mime Festival – London, Dock 11, Ballhaus NS – Berlin, De Wagg – Amsterdam, Macau C. C. – China, Paris Villette, EMPAC – N.Y., Dallas Opera , BAM – New York OnassisCC NY, The Watermill Center – NY, The Glass House – NY, Documenta14 – Kassel, Remai Modern, Canada, Performa19 – NY, Pulitzer Arts Fundation – St Louis. ) 

Between 2017 and 2020, he was responsible for the Transmedia Lab at the Greek National Opera. And in 2019 – 2022 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Festival.
