Obadu (Ákos Vértes) is a Hungarian folktronica producer who blends the spirit of Hungarian and Romanian folk traditions with contemporary electronic rhythms. The kaval, shepherd’s flute, and transverse flute play a central role, interwoven with drum rhythms inspired by hip-hop and Latin American music.

In doing so, he breaks down borders between genres and builds an atmosphere that feels both grounded and transcendent. This colorful, genre-blending style makes his music instantly recognizable, building a bridge between tradition, the present, and the future, and inviting its audience on a timeless journey.

Maluridé (HU)

Maluridé is an alternative electronic dream-pop formation from Hungary. Their style comes from the basis of pop and electronic music. However, with their lyrics and lyrics-centered vocal score, they use classical harmony tools.

Their songs create an atmosphere that balances emotional sensitivity with subtle enthusiasm, offering listeners new perspectives on everyday experiences and inner states.

The band maintains a strong live presence with their album release concerts and performing at Hungary’s main music festivals.

In 2025, Maluridé collaborated with an Athens-based contemporary classical composer on the track Shape of Broken Light. The band’s singer and songwriter Júlia Viszkeleti created an EP with Nikos called Past is Prologue.

Freakin’ Disco (HU)

Freakin’ Disco plays instrumental electronica. It’s deep, psychedelic, and groovy. They have been selected by HEMI to their mentoring and award program for 2024, and by IMPALA to their ‘100 bands to watch in 2023’ list.TOTEM was released last summer, of which the first single, Face Yourself, was produced by multi-Grammy Award winner Steve Dub, producer of The Chemical Brothers. The music video, directed by award-winning film director Szabolcs Hajdu, won the Best Electronic Music Video award at the Europe Music Video Awards. A remix by producer HRTL (CZ) was also released along with the song.

Márta Ladjánszki (HU)

Márta Ladjánszki is the motor of L1 Independent Artists Association of Public Utility, an umbrella NGO for independent creators, performing artists. As an active choreographer and dancer, her focus is mainly on the dance field and she works together with Zsolt VARGA (saxophonist, composer). Márta established the ‘Series of dance performances with/for naked spectators’ a successful event-series which was hosted by Bakelit Multi Art Center, based in Budapest (H).

After 20 years of artistic cooperation, Márta became the project manager of two Culture Europe partnerships on behalf of Bakelit MAC: Be SpectACTive! and Women Power in Comics. She is excited to learn more about the freelance creative sector either by setting up a new dance piece, mentoring artists, curating a program or being project manager of such projects.

Andras Bozan Bodrogi worked on various fields of the music industry (EMI Virgin Records, Music Export Hungary, WM Music Distribution, A38 Ship…) as new media and marketing, project manager, gained expertise in digital music business and online communication, helping labels and artists in this challenging era of music content production and online performance, rights management, and monetization.

Currently he is working as a Rights Management and Monetization specialist at The state51 Conspiracy, a London based music company, helping independent labels and artists in rights management and monetization on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. He is an external consultant and expert trainer of Google Hungary, conducting trainings to YouTube partner companies, creative and media agencies, labels, artists, brands, TV formats and independent content creators to reach their goals with audiovisual content.

He works as a tutor/mentor (JUMP – the European Music Market Accelerator, HEMI – The Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation, Sound Czech…), he is also a guest lecturer and trainer of various educational programs, marketing, media, and communication departments of universities, in music related conferences and festivals. With the Budapest based music management school called ‘Almost Famous Music Business School” he developed a long format Masterclass called “Digital Music
Business from A till Z”. He writes and publishes songs under the artist name ‘BoZaN’

Zsolt Jeges is a founder of Mamazone Records, a record label and music management company in which he’s been leading strategic management since 2007. Among this professional background he was in also one of the members of Region Conference and Showcase Festival in Budapest between 2007-2009 as the organization’s Chief Marketing Officer. From 2015 until 2018 he had been the strategic leader of all marketing promotions of Lollapalooza Berlin Festival in Central-Eastern-Europe. Also a co-founder of CEEntral Party, a networking platform for music management companies and labels, which has been connecting Central-Eastern-European and Western-European music industry professionals since 2016. He’s also been the faculty lecturer of Music and Performing Arts Management at International Business School in Budapest since 2017, and he’s been a teacher at Almost Famous Music Business School in Budapest since 2015. Since 2018 he’s the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of a music and communication consultancy firm called Atomic CEE taking place in Hamburg, as well as being the president of the Hungarian Association of Independent Labels.

Mongooz And The Magnet (HU)

Mongooz And The Magnet is a trio (quartet from 2020) formed in 2015 and is composed of four gentlemen from Ireland, Norway, and Hungary. Initially formed by Magnus (Norway) and Ian (Ireland) during their medical studies in South Hungary, they pretty quickly found themselves on stages around Hungary, Germany, Romania, Poland, Estonia, Korea and Japan.

The band draw together their influences to make groove-heavy Hendrix-pop.. that flows from gritty guitar lead lines to catchy rhythms, and is sure to leave the audience tapping their feet, grinding their bodies, and throwing things out of the window…
