
Tasos Vogiatzis is the founder of Avopolis.gr, Greece’s longest-running and most influential digital music brand, operating continuously for 29 years. He is also the CEO of Brainfood Digital Media, a 360° creative powerhouse that blends technology, storytelling, creativity, and digital advertising to shape the next era of media experiences.
Brainfood manages some of Greece’s leading lifestyle and entertainment platforms and was recently honored with four IAB MIXX Awards (2024) for Marketing Innovation, Original Content, and Pioneering Digital Marketing Projects—solidifying its reputation as one of the most forward-thinking forces in the Greek digital ecosystem.
With academic studies in Economics and Computer Science (MSc), Tasos entered the music industry from both cultural and commercial perspectives. In 1999, in collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan University and other organizations, he developed d-music.net, a visionary concept study for a subscription-based platform offering global access to all recorded music—an idea that anticipated the streaming revolution several years before it became mainstream.
A pioneer in Greece’s digital advertising landscape since 1998, he has consistently advocated for user-centric, immersive digital experiences. His core belief: technology and creativity should serve not just advertisers, but authentic human engagement—a philosophy that defines Brainfood’s mission today.
What drives him is the intersection of music, technology, and emotional experience. Every idea that pushes the boundaries of how we create, distribute, and feel music fascinates him. He spends hours—and sometimes days—exploring how such ideas can become real, always beginning with one simple question:
