Thais Ruiz de Alda is the founder and Executive Director of DigitalFems, an organization promoting gender diversity in tech environments. With 25 years of experience in the digital sector, she specializes in innovation, digital rights, and the intersection of gender, data, and technology.

Since 2019, she has led projects building a more inclusive and equitable digital world. Over the past two years, Thais has become an active voice in the MusicTech space, driving gender equality initiatives across festivals and events in Spain and Europe, and leading GenderMusicTech — a research and capacity-building project exploring Music Gender Metadata and its impact on AI.
