
Frédéric Herout is the founder and CEO of Music Magnet, a Paris&Prague-based music technology company specialising in rights transparency and performance monitoring for Performing Right Organisations and Collective Management Organisations across Europe.
With over 25 years in the music industry — including leading a 30-person data team at Yacast and nearly a decade delivering detection data to SACEM and major European CMOs — Frédéric bridges deep rights expertise with hands-on technology development.
Music Magnet operates a club monitoring contract covering 135 French venues, delivers Club Impact Studies for CMOs and Music Industry, and runs a B2B music annotation service. The company is currently building Auditio, an audio recognition engine for DJ set analysis, co-developed with BMAT under a €1.5M Eureka Eurostars grant, with a planned launch in Q1 2027.
