Evi Choursanidi is the Editor-in-Chief of Avopolis, the largest and oldest music website in Greece. Evi was born and raised in Crete, and studied Communications and Mass Media at the National University of Athens before moving to Paris to complete a Masters in Telecoms and New Media at Paris Dauphine University. After spending 3 years in London for work (and life) experience, she moved back to Athens for good.

Part “PR girl” / part journalist she has worked as an Account Manager in a PR company, as an Online Content Manager in music TV and radio groups (MAD TV, Frontstage), and as a writer for websites and magazines, mainly focusing on music and pop culture (Jumping Fish, 24Media, Rolling Stone, Avopolis).

Somewhere in all of that, she decided “Akou Auto” (which means “Listen To This” in Greek) was a good brand name for her music blog and her playlists, so she’s been holding the nickname for more than 15 years.
