
Mark Dieler, a German-Italian from Ranco, Italy, currently based between Latvia and Sicily, has been working internationally since 1998, including over a decade spent on the African continent.
With a background in activism and a deep interest in social change, he has led numerous projects at the intersection of hospitality and events, collaborating with both underground and top-tier artists in unique locations.
His decade-long experience in East Africa has cultivated a particular focus on the continent, shaping his approach to cultural exchange and creative industries.
He continues to produce events and tours and collaborates with organizations such as In Place of War, Tallinn Music Week, Sicily Music Conference, Trans Europe Halles, Dirty Deal Audio, Cindy&Kate, Lona Musik, and Paavli Kultuurivabrik, among others.
Currently, he is working on establishing an artist residency space in Sicily, where he spends as much time as possible.
Additionally, he oversees international relations for the Sicily Music Conference, with a special focus on island and Mediterranean music ecosystems.
