Voltnoi Brege (GR)

Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director, Stegi Radio / Music Curator, Onassis Stegi

Voltnoi Brege was born in Athens 1972 and is an interdisciplinary artist and curator working in the fields of live cinema performance, the internet, audiovisual installations and music.

He was the co-founder of Bios cultural center in Athens. He is a founding member of the audiovisual collectives The Erasers and drog_A_tek. 

He has presented his work around Europe in various festivals and institutions such as ICA in London, Mapping Festival in Geneva, Bernier/Eliades Gallery, Athens Biennial, Documenta 14 and the Athens Festival. Through the curatorial platform DETACH, which has organized a series of festivals, such as The Death of Recorded Music (2017), Enter Afrofuturism (2017), Blockchain: Utopia or U-turn (2018), Movement 1920 – 2020: Beyond and Between Borders (2020), produced by Onassis Foundation in Athens. 

He is the co-founder and co-artistic director of stegi.radio, an international online radio station broadcasting from Athens. He is the music curator for Onassis Stegi.
