
Konstantinos Manolkidis was born in Athens in 1994 and began studying classical guitar at the age of 8. He studied Statistics at the Athens University of Economics and Business, while simultaneously attending various conservatories, where he obtained a series of theory diplomas as well as a Guitar Diploma under the guidance of Angelos Botsis. He has attended masterclasses with leading guitar maestros (Leo Brouwer, Oscar Ghiglia, Hubert Käppel, Zoran Dukic, Marcin Dylla, Dusan Bogdanovic, among others) and has repeatedly been awarded in dozens of international guitar and composition competitions.
In 2020, he studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance for one year as a scholar of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the American-Israeli Cultural Foundation. He taught at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine for 3 years and at the Fakanas Art Conservatory.
Currently, he teaches music theory and choir at the Musical Praxis Conservatory. He is the founder and director of the Conduit Ensemble mixed choir, one of the most active amateur mixed choirs in Greece, which counts over 40 members in its four years of operation. He also sings in the Athens Chamber Choir and the Meizon Ensemble, directed by Agathangelos Georgakatos.
