Loop Vertigo (GR)
Loop Vertigo is an electronic-jazz duo from Athens, comprising Pianist/Keyboardist Dimitris Moutsios and Drummer Alex Stavropoulos. Their original music hovers between composition and improvisation, acoustic and electric sound, creating their own unique world. Their influences from contemporary jazz (Vijay Iyer, Mehliana, Now vs Now, Bad Plus, Tigran Hamasyan) to reckless electronic artists like Nerve, Squarepusher and Autechre are well hidden, but yet present in their compositions.On 2018 Loop Vertigo released their debut album ‘Neocortex’ from Black Athena record label and recently released single ‘Instant Code’ from upcoming album ‘Binary Flaws’ which is going to be released at the start of Autumn of 2023.They have performed in the most hot stages in Athens (Six dogs, Africana, Spiti Art Bar, KET etc).
