Geli Vourvouli has been Managing Editor of HuffPost Greece since the summer of 2018. Before joining the HuffPost team, she was the director of the online edition of Kathimerini (2013-2016). She was a founding member and director of protagon.gr (2009-2013).

She started working as a journalist in 1982 at the newspaper “Mesimvrini”. She was a correspondent in the USA for Mesimvrini, ERT and Star (1990-1995). She was diplomatic and political editor of the Star (1996-2000). She was editor-in-chief of the television shows “Protagonists” (ERT, 2000-2003) and “Files” (MEGA, 2003-2004). She is the author of three books: “Stories of Infidelity” (Potamos, 2015), “The Shame of the Family” (Intro Books, 2008), “The Horn and Other Incidents” (Modern Times, 1999).
