Karolina Juzwa – coordinator in Wytwornia Foundation, booking manager of Wytwornia
venue, curator of Summer Jazz Academy Festival, initiator and curator of Intl Jazz Platform,
intl meeting for artists & professionals. Member of the Europe Jazz Network Board of
Directors.
For the last ten years she has worked as a coordinator in Wytwornia Foundation, a non-profit
cultural organization and the organizer of Summer Jazz Academy Festival. She is also the
initiator and curator of Intl Jazz Platform – education scheme for professional artists that has
been organized since 2013 in Lodz. Since 2021 Intl Jazz Platform is also organized in Oslo in
partnership with Nasjonal Jazzscene and Norges Musikkhøgskole.
She is a co-leader of the Creative Europe project Footprints that is now implemented in 6
European countries and which aims at introducing the environmental responsibility to the
music sector and increasing the mobility of artists in Europe and co-creator of the new
Creative Europe project “Better Live” to be implemented with Le Periscope Lyon and 9 more
European partners within years 2023-2026.
In the years 2010 – 2013 she worked in Design Silesia project co-financed by European
Social Fund, within which, among others, she coordinated international partnership on service
design with Welsh PDR Centre (The National Centre for Product Design and Development
Research at Cardiff Met University). She also coordinated the Polish pioneering project on
service design in public institutions called “Design at your service”, which won international
Design Management Europe Award.
