Lena Ingwersen is the Managing Director of the Music Cities Network (MCN), Cultural Manager, DJ & was part of Keychange as Innovator in 2020/22. She is committed to creating sustainable change for a future-proofed music industry by enabling culture and music to flourish in various ways.

A future-proofed music industry needs to become more diverse, fairer and healthier. That is why Lena is committed to intensify borderless cultural exchange and business opportunities through her work at MCN – a global non-profit association embracing collaboration and innovation between all stakeholders of music cities ecosystems. The network was initiated in 2017 by the Hamburg Music Business Association and Sound Diplomacy and operates as an independent association with 10 global members since early 2022.

Projects run by the MCN are the European Music Business Task Force (EMBTF), the European Music Policy Exchange (EMPE) and the Link Up Euro Connection (LEC). 

Based in Hamburg, she is always aiming to enhance structures, frames and accessibility in and into the creative industries on a transnational level.
