Monika Tsiliberdi is the Head of the Directorate for the Development of Contemporary Creation of the Hellenic Ministry for Culture and Sports. She holds a BA and an MA in Archaeology and History of Art (from the University of Athens and the University of Leicester). She is also a graduate of the Greek National School of Public Administration. Ms Tsiliberdi is involved with the development of the Cultural and Creative Industries in Greece, with a particular interest on cultural entrepreneurship and new forms of cultural management such as clustering and co-working spaces, status of the artist, data based cultural policies etc. She is a member of the BoD of Eleusis European Capital of Culture 2023 and an expert in European Commission’s groups on CCSIs’ Access to Finance, Capacity Building, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
