Orestis Dantos was born in Neo Heraklion in 1979. He was involved with music at a very young age. He graduated from the Music Gymnasium of Pallini and later from the Department of Music Studies of the National Conservatory of Music, completing his studies with a diploma in piano, degrees in harmony, counterpoint and fugue at the National Conservatory and a postgraduate course of studies at the Ionian University entitled “music pedagogy in school and in the community”.
He has been working in public education since 2005 as a music teacher and in recent years as a piano teacher at the Athens Music School.
At the same time, he has been attracted by singing and as a songwriter and performer he has released six personal albums (“There are others like us” 2009, “Last Anatoli” 2012, “I would do it again” 2015, “Tinder” 2018, “X Hotel” 2019, “Tacounia for nails” 2022) with his own lyrics and music.
His songs have been sung by Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Natasha Bofiliou, Ioulia Karapataki, Martha Frindzila, Georgia Dagaki, Eftichia Mitritsa, Yannis Kotsiras, etc.
