Thanasis Karanikas, born in 1988, has been immersed in music since his high school years, when he first took to the airwaves, hosting shows on local radio stations in Nafpaktos and later in Patras. His journey as a DJ took a professional turn in 2014 when he became part of “The Tandem Project”, a DJ collective he remains connected with to this day. Whether behind the decks as a resident or guest DJ at bars, clubs, and events across Athens, he is also a dedicated vinyl collector. As a radio producer on Cannibal Radio, he curates and shares carefully selected sounds, creating an immersive listening experience. His DJ sets weave together diverse elements of electronic music, always striving for a seamless, engaging, and unexpected sonic journey. Beyond mixing tracks, he also explores music through writing, contributing articles to various magazines and websites.
