Gemma (GR)
We are a five-member band created back in 2017, in Rethymno Crete, Greece.
We aim to combine synth electronic sounds, with post rock elements from guitars, bass and drums, blending traditional and modern elements, effects and voice loops.
As a result, we create original compositions, and traditional song covers from our region Crete, and from all around the Greece.
Inspired by the ancient pagan Cretan sounds and influenced by the pioneers of electronic music, we create a unique futuristic and tribal ritual.
Our first LP is called Gemma, was released in 2021, including 8 tracks and has received fantastic reviews from press, blogs and radios from all over the world.
